The Charlatans have announced something of a homecoming (ish!) show for June 15. The 15-year-old band will play in Delamare Forest, in Cheshire, as part of the Forestry Commission's 2007 Forest Tours series.
Simon Hough, a spokesman for The Forestry Commission, commented: "We are delighted that The Charlatans are the first act to be confirmed as part of our 2007 season especially as they are local to the area."
Tickets for The Charlatans' show are priced at £24 and are on sale from this Friday, January 26. Also confirmed for the series is Jools Holland, and further details can be found here.
