Arctic Monkeys have announced a massive show to take place when the sun returns next summer.
The band will look to fill Old Trafford Cricket Ground, home of Lancashire CCC, with 50,000 people on the 28th of July '07.
Reports indicate that the band's set will be the longest ever, and will include tracks from their second album, which they are busy recording.
Support acts will be announced in the next few weeks, and the band have promised they will be plucked from among their personal favourites. Probably not Milburn, then.
Tickets go on sale from 12:30pm this Friday (Dec 15).
