Nick Cave & Bad Seeds to release double DVD in January
Mike_Diver by Mike Diver November 20th, 2006

January 29 - hey, that's next year! - will see the release of The Abattoir Blues Tour, a double-disc DVD set featuring live songs from said tour, as performed of course by Nick Cave And The Bad Seeds.

The Boatman's Call - best Nick Cave album? Tell me I'm wrong!

The DVD features a number of songs from Mr Cave's latest (also double-disc) long-player, Abattoir Blues/The Lyre Of Orpheus, a selection of older songs and a good few special feature-y things. Footage is taken from two gigs - one in Brixton (November 2004) and t'other in Hammersmith (June 2003 circa Nocturama).

Among the features are videos to every single from the band's past two albums and also a film following the filming of the 'Bring It On' promo.
