An introduction to In The Red: a Static Disaster
Mike_Diver by Mike Diver April 18th, 2005
Fuckin' pre-order this shit already...

Fairly freakin' ace label In The Red is issuing a sampler disk, entitled Static Disaster, on June 13th.

Featuring 27 tracks, the sampler houses some of the finest, most fugged-up rock 'n' roll soul that side of the Pond can offer. I know, I heard some and rediscovered my faith in 'garage rock' music. Now, you can too.

Tracklisting below. Check out the two, previously unreleased session tracks from Jon Spencer's Blues Explosion. Oh hell yes...

1. The Dirtbombs 'I Can’t Stop Thinking About It'
2. The Hunches 'Static Disaster'
3. Reigning Sound 'Drowning'
4. Cheater Slicks 'Walk Up The Street'
5. The Deadly Snakes 'I Can’t Sleep At Night'
6. Lost Sounds 'Trails/Fears'
7. Blacktop 'I Think It’s Gonna Rain'
