Snoop - real name Calvin Broadus - is alleged to have instructed Ms Richardson to pick up three FedEx packages which, allegedly unknown to her, contained a substantial quantity of marijuana. The incident took place seven years ago in a Virgina motel. Richardson was stopped by police at a club where Snoop was performing.
At the time neither party was arrested, but Richardson claims she was searched, handcuffed and interrogated at a police station. Her lawsuit alleges fraud and deceit, breach of contract, negligence and false imprisonment, and asks for Snoop/Broadus to cough up $1m in damages.
