boring, but potentially really useful Excel question

alcxxk [Edit] [Delete] 19:00, 6 June '07

i did something in a really important excel sheet (well its more of a database than a spreadsheet, but we use excel cos its easier), meaning to undo it
but i got sidetracked, and had to restart my computer and saved teh changes.

now basically all the important reference numbers are detached from the rest of the information. could take me bloody ages to link it all up again.

anyway, edit---> undo doesnt present itself as an option

is there anyway to revert to the previous saved version? i havent been backing it up like i should

:(
