Because I woke up really late for work this morning, I jumped straight out of the shower and walked to the tube station with my hair still wet and, with it being windy as hell, meant that after 10 minutes it had dried my hair into position like a ludicrous puffball. At that point I decided the best course to limit the situation was to run the risk of hat hair, and put on a beanie. Anyway, when I took it off after finally arriving at work I almost vomited.

It's hard to describe just how bad it is - I look kind of like Big Ernie McCracken from Kingpin. I didn't think I was particularly vain, but it's making me really grouchy, plus no-one can take anything I say seriously at the moment - as one person has already helpfully pointed out 'it's like talking to a man wearing a clown nose or summat'.

Does anyone have any experience on how to sort this out? I can't seem to do anything with it - it seems 'set' in place as it were..... :(
