I didn't see your piece in the Sunday Times. I'm a good middle class liberal remember. It's the Guardian or nothing in this house. Although the Guardian isn't published on a Sunday, so it's the Observer or nothing. One of my weird pet hates though is that I hate reading the Sunday Papers. They have good content but I get really really really really irate about the designs of all of them. The Guardian is all slick and nice, but newspapers are just SO FUCKING UGLY! They don't even look obsolete or old fashioned. JUST FUCKING HORRIBLE! Awkward, hulking. They're like the funny hunchback in your home town who everybody is lovely and polite and civil too, but are simultaneously repulsed by his appearance. They are like John Merrick, except the Guardian which is like an unholy union of Benjamin Disraeli and Lizzy Siddle."
