Have any of you made any?

I'm 23 and bored with my job now and might have the opportunity to go work a year in Vanuatu. I've never been there, and never met anyone that has but am tempted. I'm a little scared of moving to such a secluded place though because I love cities and I'm afraid I'll get bored pretty quickly living on a small island in the middle of the pacific ocean.

Advice?
