I went to B&Q Garden Centre on Sunday to see if they had any Venus Fly Traps.

Here's how the exchange went.

Me: "Hiya, i don't suppose you sell Venus Fly Traps?"

Helpful assistant: "A what?"

"Venus Fly Trap?"

*said whilst looking at me like a complete div*
"WHICH??"

"A Venus Fly Trap!"

*said whilst looking at me like i've just tried to kill her firstborn child*
"A what?? What is it for?"

"It's a little plant that catches flies...."

"Just use your hands" *makes a swatting motion*

"Thanks for your help".

Does anybody else have a helpful staff story they'd like to share?
