i saw a thing on the telly this ornign about peoples walking pace. it reminded me of this thread i've been meaning to start for ages:

how fast do you walk? i walk quite fast. if i'm listening to music i cant help but have to keep in time with it, which is annoying. gimme shelter by the rolling stones is right at my optimum walking pace. or if its friday evening when i'm feeling particularly sprightly, its harder better faster stronger by daft punk.
