Most of my trousers are really brightly coloured or patterned (with the exception of a couple of plain pairs for work). Some examples of stuff I own include a cream pair with sweetie wrappers all over them, flowery jeans, red PVC ones, patchwork ones, red, blue and yellow stripy flares, orangy/pink flannelly trousers, etc. Right now I'm wearing turquoise cords.

Anyway, to get to my point... Why do people seem to think it's okay to wear tops of any colour, design, material, whatever, but for trousers it has to be black, grey or blue jeans??
