and it pays more, better work, more along the lines of what I want to do, etc. but I feel underqualified. I.e. the application form desires I have a "journalistic qualification" (which I lack) and "agency experience".

However, I'm skilled to a certain extent in the other areas; should I apply for it or would it be pointless?

It's an internal position, but only for 6 months.
