Looking through cat's eyes

Look at this:

That's SIX years old. They had the technology to use an implant and a neural interface to transmit images of what a cat was seeing onto a screen elsewhere. I don't know whether or not it was wireless or not, but I do know that the technology has been available for three or four years to do that kind of thing wirelessly

How fucking weird is that?

I love stuff like that. I also love the fact that we don't hear anything about it now, possibly rendering the whole thing pointless, OR (which I prefer) the government/military have scooped it up and are developing it for EVIL
