This now getting used too often for my liking. Essentially some twatend decided that BC/AD was too 'Christian-centric', which would be a fair point...except that they took two very different souncing terms and replaced them BCE (Before Common Era) and CE (Common Era) and THAT'S IT.

The epoch date is still when Christ supposedly got born so what a fucking joke.

Sorry, this kind of stuff does irritate me.
