Performing Electronica Live

Mystery_White_Boy [Edit] [Delete] 20:42, 27 May '07

I've been making some *mostly* electronic/sequenced music recently. I want to start performing it live, mixing it up with live vocals and instruments. Thing is, I don't want to be singing or playing over something that is essentially the recorded version with a few bits taken out of it. I'm completely computer based, I use Reason 3.0 to compose. What software would I be able to use to make a 'live' mix? I want some software that can mangle what I have already and that's easy to drop or add certain synth lines or whatever. OR, does anyone recommend any extra hardware for the same purpose?
