hmm. didnt enjoy it too much. maybe i was just spoilt by the intimacy of the bush hall gig, but didnt work for me. i now see why people hate koko; sound was tolerable at the front, horrendous everywhere else in the building. my girly couldn't see so we moved from the front to try to get a better view; turns out there are no good views in the building whatsoever, all of the balconys are so stupidly built that its practically impossible to find somewhere to see anything. there was no support, they played for 75 minutes, setlist was okay but not amazing, performance averagely good. crowd chatting in most places. didn't like some of the new arrangements, Two sounds rubbish compared to the solo piano version... but hollywood boulevard and the down in a hole cover were pretty great. overall, i know lots of the reasons i disliked it were probably down to peripheral things rather than the band, but at the end of tut day just felt a bit ripped off paying £70 including travel for 75 minutes of distorted okayness.

bum.
