I wish sometimes we were in the same country...cos then I could say, Hey did you guys see the Ryan Adams in Jamaica thingy on tv?

I'll mention it now because I did in fact watch this last night and for all I know it's been out on dvd for 4 years and Sky tv broadcast it too and whatever.

Anyway, t'was interesting. Ryan was coherent and under control, erm, mostly and...he'd go around with his acoustic (sometimes with and sometimes without his band) and buy pig's feet and t-shirts from the locals and get bitten by mosquitos and sing and other fun stuff.

The point of this diatribe, in case you haven't seen it, and still would like to make my thread less lonely is that Ryan (despite self-effacing remarks to the contrary) did reggae better than Jamaicans did reggae. Just like Damon Albarn does hip hop better than American black hip hoppers.

What does this all mean? I dunno know. You tell me!
