What the hell has happened to this band?

2002 - Average. I didn't like them very much, and they did nothing for me.

2004 - Amazing. Aha Shake... is 9/10 material. Its song-writing at its best.

2007 - What the fuck? On Call was the worst song I'd heard this year. Then I heard 'WAO she's such a charmer oh no.'

How a band who soared into the heights of the cream of popular indie can just go the total opposite escapes me. I'm willing to put their latest 'effort' beneath the likes of The Automatic, and The Twang.
