This I suppose is another thread where I post about a band I like a lot and no one reads it.

Accelera Deck have quite recently released two awesome albums which are very connected together.

The First album 'a landslide of stars' is the rock one of the two. Quite Krautrocky with a helping of noise as well, especially in the background.

The second album 'Instrumentals' is the interesting bit. It's the backing noise in it's unedited form.

This is a brilliant album actually, all built around the track 'wolf-christ' which is 40 mins of noise in a way similar to The Boredoms Go!!! in that it never gets boring at all even though it never deviates much. It's amazing, like being on a Spacecraft that is just taking off with the sound of the engines intertwined with the euphoria of the astronauts and the general magic of space. It's kinda hard to put in words really!

On a side note, Instrumentals was released as part of Unlabels Series 52 which was such a great idea, in fact I feel quite ashamed that I only own 3 of them. I so would have loved to own all 52 even though it wouldn't have been finacially possible for me!
