Right: I'm looking for indie classics that have been covered incredibly badly or unintelligibly. Or alternatively, old-school indie bands doing terrible covers themselves.

I done been tasked up with doing a round in a 90s indie quiz. Problem is, around that time I was mostly sitting round watching WWF and probably listening to the Batman Forever soundtrack, or something; not getting my republica on like all the cool kids. So I'm taking the easy option and doing a 'guess the cover version' round. So it can't be anything too obvious!

So far, I's got Tatu doing The Smiths, a bluegrass band doing OK Computer, the string quartet doing Jeff Buckley..
