On the S/E deluxe bbc live bit, Malkmus sez "this one goes out to the Crucial Three (an EATB reference).." (Other than Perfume borrowing heavily from Going Up (Crocodiles) I dunno why he'd say that exactly...must be a fan.)

From Bowie I found Iggy and so on. It's uncanny how often a favorite band has turned me onto a great band they're into...or finding out your fav artist has similiar taste to your own.
