Albums that conjure up vivid memories

dove_from_above [Edit] [Delete] 16:08, 3 May '07

I'm sure there are lots for most people. So... what are they?

My recent acquisition of the Diamonds in the Dark EP prompted me to listen to Making Dens this morning for the first time in months. As soon as the intro started it took me back to when I was in Barcelona last year. Most of my mates had set up camp in the pub all day, but I quite fancied getting out and seeing what was going on down by the coast. It was early evening and the sun was starting to set, boats were easing their way into the harbour and it seemed a different beautiful Spanish lady was walking past me every 30 seconds. Songs like Soluble in Air just sounded so amazing in that setting

I ended up walking for far too long, and by the time I returned everyone else was pissed

I'm pretty sure listening to that album will always, always remind me of those couple of hours. I'm trying to avoid doing work so... what albums have done this for you?

</over long and unneccesarily romantic>
