With the demise of Popworld, TOTP, and CD:UK there is no regular music show on TV.

Which leaves us with MTV2, occasional runs of Jools Holland's Wankfest, and Tranmission (that late night C4 show presented by Lovely Lauren Laverne).

What the fuck went wrong? And don't tell me it's all Myspace/Facebook/Bebo these days, TV is an ideal medium to see live bands do their stuff.

There is no outlet on terrestrial TV currently where you can see the likes of Foals, Blood Red Shoes, etc.

Now I'm not the biggest fan of these bands mentioned, but I still think they deserve a crack at wider fame as do all the bands we love.
