When I was there on Tuesday for a gig, I met a lot of people who knew each other really well. It was great to be in a tight-knit scene where everyone looked out for each other, helped each other out and bigged up lots of decent stuff.

I'm sure it's not all as pleasant as that, but it was nice.

I was thinking about other places where there is a really good 'scene' and Bristol came to mind. Where else is good?
