A band i know applied to play there a couple of months ago and they were offered a gig. The promoter then turned round and said 'If you bring less than 10 people down, you will not be allowed to play!' Not only is this outrageous but surely, i would have thought, be very difficult to enforce.
Has anyone played there recently and fallen foul to this vile policy? or is it more bullshit from desperate promoters? are there any nice/good promoters on the london circuit? the truth is out there and it must be told!
