You know when the album you put on on your ipod (media player) when you left the house finishes and you have to choose a new album or listen to the same one again? Well, this evening I was walking through the centre of a big city (I won't say which one) and I had such a moment. It was warm for this time of year and I wanted something that would compliment the weather and reflect my current state of mind. Anyway, I'm usually wrong in these situations, but today I went for Galaxie 500 - Today. It was perfect. Now, I realise that you can argue that a degree of music appreciation is down to circumstance but today, I really think that Today is perfect. On Fire probably is too. So, best band ever? Yes x infinity. No returns.
