Dr Filth (http://www.myspace.com/drfilth) are a fantastic band.
Musically they remind me of Minutemen, 80s Matchbox, Shellac, Jesus Lizard and Jeff Buckley.
They are splitting up.
This is sad.
HOWEVER
they are playing one last gig, at the Kilburn Paradise (http://www.allinlondon.co.uk/clubs_bars/venue-1091.php).
This gig is tomorrow.
This is a reason to be very happy.
They've always put a lot of effort into making their gigs individual and special, and this will without doubt be something very very joyous indeed
I will probably do a cry or two.
I'm not posting this for the band's benefit - I'm pretty sure it will be packed out. It's for your benefit. You have no ofther chance to see this really fucking brilliant, fun, noisey, fucked up band.
It's semi likely that I'll end up doing vocals on one song.
