Started in July 2002 after Richie and Steve's former band Evil Pantano split before their time. Tom was already onboard and after a drummerless couple of months they met up with Ryan who was rocking to the same stuff (the Stooges, Sonic Youth, The Icarus Line, Les Savy Fav, At The Drive-In and a whole lot more). Rejecting irony in favour of belief they rattle through sets filled with songs of love, fear and death, feedback and destruction. The name comes from a late night tv programme about Japanese women wrestlers. So far there have been around 50 flyer/name related cock ups and they will never end. Wear an eyepatch to one of their shows and the band will salute your bravery. Dance and they will love you forever, not enough people dance at their shows.
