Bio
The Victorian English Gentlemens Club is a 4 piece cranky indie rock band hailing from Cardiff, Wales. They made their recording debut in early 2006; with the limited-edition "The Tales of Hermit Mark"/"My Son Spell Backwards" released in the spring and double A-side "Amateur Man"/"Ban the Gin" following that summer, the Victorian English Gentlemans Club added to the anti-emo sentiment currently taking their native U.K. by storm thanks to the growing popularity of The Horrors and Blood Red Shoes. The self-titled debut album was released in Autumn 2006; first single "Impossible Sightings Over Shelton" debuted at number ten on the U.K. Indie Singles Chart its first week out.
