The Silver Pill decide to disappear from the live scene for a few months in order to devote more time to recording.

The Silver Pill present the We Believe in Father Christmas spectacular at The Bongo Club in Edinburgh, a night of festive fun featuring bands such as Astrid, ballboy, X-Tigers, The Starlets, Degrassi and Annie Christian. The night is extremely successful and is praised fulsomely in the press, prompting a decision to host further such nights in 2002.

2002

The Silver Pill set about recording a glut of material for forthcoming release.

The Silver Pill host We Believe in Elvis Presley, a tribute to the music of The King featuring contributions from Annie Christian, Huckleberry, Torqamada and X-Tigers.

The Silver Pill, alongside Garlic, play The Twisted AM Lounge in London on Sunday April 14.
