Brief Band History:
Formed on April fools day on 2001. Practised soon after, and then played some gigs.
Influences:
A mixture of things, whether they be musical or non musical. It would be fair to say that The! Lights! Alive! is influenced by (not entirely nor exclusively) Antioch Arrow, Ink & Dagger, Suicide, The Monorchid, The VSS, Le Shok, Whitehouse, Mocket, Jehu, The Stooges, Black Cat #13, Sunshine, Mens Recovery Project, The Calculators, MC5, Devo, 80's new-wave, vampires, San Diego/ Olympian chic, pinball machines and general campness.

To record for some releases. Release numer 1: 7" for The Secret Handshake. Release number 2: 3 way split with Clambake and Aqua Vista vs The Surf Creatures on Traditional Songs L.T.D. Play gigs, and continue to warp minds of others, attempt to destroy the Army of Flying Teapots.
