After a UK debut taster single In To Your Head charted in the spring, the band toured briefly, gaining a reputation for epic and intense performances. They followed up with a trip to Canada and the US where their technicolor textures found a firmly building fan base among the wide-open spaces.

Comparisons have been wide-ranged and disparate; Spiritualized, Smashing Pumpkins, Pink Floyd and Mercury Rev to mane but four. But The Honeymoon Machine are a difficult band to pin down - this is an essentially new brew, a blissed out psyched up rock'n'roll.
