The D Shift Band are a three piece who met whilst working for the same Peterborough mail order company. They play soulful rock & roll taking inspiration from The Clash, Motown, Bruce Springsteen, Johnny Cash and Talking Heads. The songs have a strong narrative element focusing on themes of loss, hope and escape. The philosophy? to make joyful uplifting music.
This year has seen the band sign a management deal, record their debut single and play around the country supporting The Ordinary Boys, Bloc Party, The Blueskins and opening for Dogs Die in Hot cars on several tour dates.
