"In a small garage in a small town called Fjalkinge, just outside Kristianstad in the beginning of 2001 a group of people gathered and started making music. This would become sort of a musical collective calling themselves Scraps of Tape.

Nowadays Scraps of Tape most often consist of four people, but there is always room for friends and loved ones to jump in and collaborate at almost any time.

The characteristics of Scraps of Tapes music are quickly recognized: the violent changes in tempo, the unexpected ideas, and the transition between the frail beauty and insane hard. There is also a red thread in the creative process of the band that a song or piece isn't finished just because it's recorded, the music should always feel alive and sometimes that means that the songs could change totally over time".

Scraps of Tape have released two albums Read between the lines at all times ( 2004 ) and This Is A Copy Is This A Copy ( 2007 ) on A Tenderversion Recording and will tour Europe in Spring 2007.
