Bio
Oxford singer/songwriter Richard Walters, ex of Shifty Disco's Theremin, has the sweet voice of a tender angel.
In 2004 his first solo EP, 'Umbrella Songs', caught the attention of Nic Harcourt, presenter of Morning Becomes Eclectic on LA's KCRW. He spent 2006 touring with Gemma Hayes and Dave Matthews, whilst the track 'All At Sea' featured on the hit US TV show CSI:MIAMI.
Come the end of 2006, Walters signed to Oxford's Big Scary Monsters label, and a new 5 track ep - 'Pilotlights' - is slated for release in Febuary 2007.
Richard is also part of Monoband, the side project of Cranberries guitarist Noel Hogan and Missing Pieces with ex-22-20's keyboard player Charly Coombes.
