Redeye Jedi formed during October 2000, when the four guys moved up to Uni. Roscoe and Woodsy already knew each other from school and came to Nottingham with the intention of forming a band, having previously played together in their 'Cheek' outfit. As it turned out Woodsy, Justin and David were all in the same hall, and sharing similar interests, influences, and perhaps more importantly dislikes, it was clear that things would work out. Finally when Woodsy introduced Dave and Justin to Roscoe, Redeye Jedi emerged...

Since then the band have braved the conditions of the Uni's practice room to emerge as a discordant outfit prepared to shake up the usual musical misconceptions and trends.

From their explosive first showcase gig at the University Union to their misadventures across Nottingham and the Midlands at venues such as The Peggers, The Old Angel and Sheffield Barfly, Redeye Jedi have earnt their reputation for intense live sets and are preparing to take their melodic barrage further afield.....

However, that was until one day back in january when supporting Death Cab for Cutie, James Holland aka The Sharp Foundry joined the sonic assault on their crusade. Layering the tunes with keys and samples, The Sharp Foundry brings a new dimension to the sound.........
