OCS is a duo consisting of John Dwyer (Coachwhips) and Patrick Mullins (Burmese), both friends residing in San Francisco. Whilst OCS shares the same no-fi production and blues inspiration as Coachwhips, the project sees Dwyer in a more thoughtful mood. Soothingly strumming a pink acoustic guitar with a buzzed out smirk, singing songs about death and dying, with Patrick producing swathes of warm noise and holding a steady beat.

The duo's new album, 3 & 4 (a double-disc set), is out on September 5th 2005 through Narnack Records.
