New Rhodes, formed in 2001 in Bristol. James (vocals and guitar), Jack (bass), and Joe (guitar) atteneded the same secondary school and sixth form college, whilst Steve (drums) was recruited at the end of 2003 following a handful of gigs with their previous drummer and under the name The Rhodes.

The band have released two singles on Moshi Moshi; I Wish I Was You and You've Given Me Something That I Can't Give Back the latter of which made the top 40 chart.
