We formed in August 2001 and are from Leicester, England.
In April 2002 we recorded 'Sounds For Entrances', a three track EP, at
Premier Studios with producer Iain Wetherell. We continued to play shows around
the UK and then BSM Records approached us to do a release for them. We
kindly accepted and in February 2003 we released a 6 track mini-album called 'Every
Souvenir has a Story'. We were really pleased with this cd - it was really
fun to record and feels really great when we play live and people are singing
along.
In December 2002, Woody (Darius' brother), joined us on keyboards.
We wanted to add a new sound to the band but didn't want to add another guitar.
Woody has slotted in perfectly and we have begun writing songs together and it's
sounding really cool. The live shows are going really well and everyone seems to
be digging the keyboards!
In July we returned from San Diego, USA after recording our second mini-album.
It is to be released on Sore Point Records (Further Seems Forever,
Brand New, Recover) in early 2004. We recorded at Big Fish Studios
where Jimmy Eat World, Finch & Blink 182 have all recorded
before, so it was a great experience to follow in some great bands' footsteps.
The CD was produced by Ben Moore, who has also worked with Rocket from the
Crypt, Counterfeit and Noise Ratchet. He is a top guy and
pushed us harder than ever before and he did a fantastic job on the production.
We have just finished shooting a video for 'As Always' which will be
appearing on digital TV early in the new year. Another notable highlight this
year has been playing support to The Darkness! Next years plans are to
tour hard and write for our album which should be out by October 2004.
