Miss:Spelt Yoof aren't your typical modern metal band, hailing from the unlikely location of Bury St. Edmunds, Suffolk, this five piece are seemingly unaffected by the stagnating band wagon jumping syndrome that dominates the rock scene like a virus.

Since forming in the summer of 1999 the M:SY sound has progressed and focused into what you are hearing today. A sound that fuses together the environment of East Anglia with each members influences, from metal to hip-hop to rock, Rage Against the Machine to Cypress Hill to the Red Hot Chili Peppers via Hendrix and the Fun Lovin' Criminals, yet without the stereotypical and contrived "rapcore" tendencies.
