Mi and L'au live together in a small cabin, in quite the middle of nowhere. Their debut album was recorded in New York with Michael Gira. Their music is mostly minimal folk - acoustic guitar, voice - but orchestral flourishes punctuate their self-titled debut.

Their music reminds me of how one might imagine a winter Finnish landscape - haunting and pure.
