An underlying sense of purpose runs throughout the band's compositions. Emotions long thought lost are encapsulated and evoked to stimulate the imagination and consolidate the listener's feelings. At times these are wide-eyed, tender; touching in their naivety. At others they are confounded, cynical, bruised. They are always compelling.
