Galeries D'Art is Christopher Bryan and his imaginary friend Bob Climate. A wide range of influences make for a unique sound, including: the dark brooding brass of Bernard Herrmann, through to the melancholic string arrangements of Gorecki and Samuel Barber, the passion of "Stories"-era PJ Harvey, the fundamental art of The Smiths, and Brian Wilson channelling the pathos of Scott Walkers mythic baratone.

A Galeries D'Art song entitled Girls On The Liner featured on the Brainlove Records compilation Real Pirate Radio - new material is due in 2006.
