Bio
Eurythmy Bridge - vocals, all instruments. This is what she wrote about herself :
I'm Eurythmy Bridge. I don't have a band, but that's what the band would be called if I had one. Or maybe "Eurythmy Bridge and her band." That sounds a bit possessive though. Hm. Well, I'd let the band be called whatever they like. I am rather in search of one. If you play jazz piano, jazz drums, double bass, or when you play your boogie woogie bugle you're as busy as a buzzzzzy bee, and you're also of a pleasant and agreeable disposition, then you should help me out. :)
I make music with a guitars (usually bottleneck), a larynx (doesn't that make it sound so cool??), a synthesiser (on occasion), and great difficulty... The end result is something quite lo-fi and country-esque, which isn't bad, though I want it to be something quite different. What I really want is to make jazzy and/or blues music. I like a lot of music but I don't really know what specifically "influences" me, hence I left that field blank ... I think it's up to other people to figure that out. But I'm enormously fond of Billie Holliday, Ella Fitzgerald, Son House, Tom Waits, Nina Simone, Johnny Cash, Bob Dylan, Jeff Buckley, Elliott Smith, Patti Smith, PJ Harvey, Joanna Newsom, CocoRosie, Ray Charles, Robert Johnson, pretty much any "Blind Willie" that crosses my path, and of course, The White Stripes, without whom I'd probably not have discovered a lot of this stuff.
