Brace yourself for gritty, low-slung basslines riding hypnotic krautrock drumming while spaced-out surf guitars jostle with pulsating synths. Rather than pandering to immediacy, Doloroso have instead carved out something dark and cinematic which stretches its fingers out across time and space. Throughout 2005, following a debut EP release in February 2005 ('Killer Calm' on Trial & Error Recordings), Doloroso captivated audiences in venues around London with a series of compelling shows. They are currently finishing an album produced by ex-drummer James Ford (Test Icicles, Mystery Jets and Absentee), with a single due out Spring 2006.
