Bio
Darts Club were formed in 2001 by singer/songwriter Rob Hughes and guitarist and bass player Dave Seabright, both of ex-perennial Cmabridge favourites Pogul Magee. After recording the well-received acoustic CD A Fear of Beards with Glenn Jobson(formerly of Slinky and Blind Velma), the duo became a trio as Glenn graduated from temporary organ player on the CD to take his place as the full-time Darts Club bass player.
Joined next by Sarah Stow(ex of many bands) on drums, the first full Darts Club line-up was complete and ready to meet the Cambridge scene with a fresh fervour and an organic style. The Wind Factory CD, released in 2002, showcased their fuller sound and was as well received as their previous recording.
In 2003/4, the band began to receive more attention and were joined by Simon Powell(ex Slinky/Blind Velma) who completed the definitive Darts Club sound. The band are now in the process of promoting their first album, A Picture of Health, described by the band as "a fantastic mix of spanners and spikes, bondage and biscuits".
