Brief Band History:
Formed in 2002. Recorded Penny Pills during the summer of 2002, when the band also attended Popkomm in Koln, Germany, and established a desire to aim for the European rock market. Then in March 2003 a licensing deal for Europe was secured with UK-based TB Records.
Describe your band's sound for someone who hasn't heard you:
'70s FM Radio-influenced hard rock in the vein of T-Rex, Alice Cooper Group, Cheap Trick, Thin Lizzy, Kiss, and Queen; filtered through early Motley Crue, Hanoi Rocks and the Cars.
Which album(s) changed your life and why?
T-Rex: Electric Warrior - for Marc Bolan's all-encompassing rock'n'roll approach.
Motley Crue: Too Fast for Love - I love this for its trashy production and fantastic songs.
Alice Cooper Group - deceptively complex songwriting wrapped up in a dirty rock'n'roll package.
Kiss: Alive - the songs, the look, the bigger than life aspect of everything they did.
Thin Lizzy: Live and Dangerous - Phil Lynott's incredible songwriting delivered with all the energy of the classic Lizzy line-up.
Guns 'N' Roses: Appetite for Destruction - simultaneously fragile and violent, a masterpiece of rock'n'roll attitude delivered with an honesty un-rivalled by any of the other bands on the sunset strip.
Other faves - Cheap Trick (first three records), Queen (Sheer Heart Attack), Mott the Hoople (All the Young Dudes), Hanoi Rocks (Live at the Marquee), The Cars (debut)... To many to list!
