Melanie's Red Fleece have been together since the end of 2000, and have played many gigs in pubs, clubs, parties, breweries, biker events, festivals, weddings, charity events and Universities. It all started when a bunch of forty-somethings with similar musical tastes and performing ambitions got together to jam at a farmhouse in South Norfolk. Steve has been playing since the sixties; Kevin started drumming in 1978 in the Liverpool punk band, Those Naughty Lumps, who recorded two singles on the cult Zoo label. Rose had been in a number of blues based bands before MRF and Si is the new boy joining mid ’03. Melanie's Red Fleece play stuff they like, and they hope you like some of it, too.
