NZ singer/songwriter Katherine Leese has been living in Holland for the past three years. She was initially performing solo and playing bass guitar for Rotterdam band 'Indubio'. Twelve months ago she started working with RRA Projects, Leidschendam, orginally to make a demo, but it has evolved into an albumn, which will be released February 2003. She has formed a band, 'Katbite' to make these recordings a live event as well as a studio project.

Her songs are melancholic in text but not in execution, there are plenty of riffs and strong melodic lines with the strongest influences being alternative rock, folk and punk.

Influences include Bowie, Morrissey and Sonic Youth.
